Around the lake of Molveno

The Dolomites are reflected in Lake Molveno, a jewel of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park: a postcard picture for a natural context considered an epitome of land management.

The  Walk around Molveno  Lake is one of the fabulous  walks  to enjoy near  Molveno Lake. It is a path for everyone with various tourist attractions:
the Roman Bridge and the Rio Ceda falls, the forts of Napoleon, and the Bior Bridge.

Fortini di Napoleone

Fortifications and eighteenth-century trenches reused during   the First World War
It is possible to go around the lake completely along a wide and easy path, essentially flat, except for a few gentle ups and downs. The tour of the lake takes about two and a half hours;  The itinerary offers suggestive views of the lake. We recommend a small detour to visit “Fortini di Napoleone”, built between 1796 and 1801 to counter the invasions of the Napoleonic army which, during the three raids in Trentino, passed through Molveno twice. We recommend a small detour for the visit to “Fortini di Napoleone”, built between 1796 and 1801 to counter the invasions of the Napoleonic army which, during the three raids in Trentino, passed through Molveno twice.
